I've even seen some people modify them with 2x12s.

Which speaker configuration do you prefer your tweed Bassman combos? 4x10 or 1x15?

    I've got a 4x10 Tweed Bassman combo that I'm considering modifying to a 1x15 combo - if it's possible. I like 15" speakers and the 4x10's are - a LOT of amp.

I like the standard 4x10" combo, because of the fast attack

It definitely is possible. From what I've read, you'd need to replace the baffle. Electronically, I believe it's relatively easy, although I'd check which ohms settings the output transformer supports before going that route.

I know it's set to 2 ohms, if you're referring to the Fender Bassman reissues or LTD.

    I'm a multiple 10" speaker amp kinda guy... 2x, 4x, etc.

I like 10" speakers better than 12" or 15" generally.
