Converted my 5b3 with a 1x10 to a 12 inch baffle. I will probably do a series using the same format. Amp settings are maximized for the what I preceived as the best tone.

Day after New Years playing....still feeling kinda rough.

Really great speaker...very tight low end. One might say it doesnt sound like an original but it is a great speaker. Had a discussion with Weber about a custom larger mag version....stay tuned

Tweed Deluxe always had 12" Jensens.....

I own a very early 1948 5A3, straight tweed not angled, with the original Jensen P12R also with the original output transformer mounted to the speaker.

Be careful of too much magnet in these amps. The bass becomes just overpowering. Been there BUT using an EQ pedal you can peel away the Uber lows and it gets really usable

Tele bridge has changed and settings may not match other videos but you can get a sense of the big rich bottom end. All the best parts of the Jensen p12n but without the edgy top end that doesn't sound vintagey. Fairly dark in a home volume setting with humbuckers but not in a bad way. Single coils love it. Strat clips coming but not in this format.

Last demo with the a12q vs the 12a150a at maxed ppimv. In person it is super loud but the smartphone adjusts the audio to prevent clipping. I am keeping the 12a150a as it is richer at lower voumes though the a12q is more versatile when driven. Watch the classifieds for this rare speaker.

Do you have any experience with the Jupiter speakers? (http://jupitercondenser.com/product-category/speakers/) I been reading positive comments from pro players using these in various tweed amps. There aren't many demos available. I see Milkman amps is using them as stock speakers. Tempted to try one myself.
