    Joe, you get great tones no matter what you're playing...btw, do you have your Tonelab patches available anywhere?

    FWIW, I gigged a Classic 50 4x10 for about 10 years before I got all tone snobbish...was in a store the other day and played one and smacked myself in the forehead and went "DOH!"

    I played an al fresco gig with my recently retubed Classic 50 2x12 last Sunday. Sounded great!

    Thanks man ... the smacked forehead comment gave me a good laugh ...

    I only have the Tonelab OD patch I used in the Shameless Wanking Santana Youtube in my sig ....

    The other OD ones got messed up from way too much tweaking on my part ...

    ive had my classic 50 for about 10years and would never get rid of it. its my first tube amp. i've played everything threw it and always had compliments on my sound

    its my main amp in my set up. sometimes i throw my ampeg super rocket in my mix for the fun of it.

    sorry i didnt mean to make it seem like i replaced it with something else or anything. its my favorite amp and the one that sees the most use

    I must go and try out a Classic 50 4x10 again soon, inexpensive classy amp.

    I recorded my current band's CD with a C50 4x10 with a Box of Rock and an OCD. I've been using a Spider Valve/2x12 cab for the past few months, but I don't think I'll be getting rid of the C50 anytime soon.

    Great playing on those clips!!! I wish I could play like that.
