Two new tracks: Beck-like funk and 80's UK alt-pop

    It was a busy week for writing.
    A friend asked me to write a funk song for a video promo advertising a new website.
    Wanted a basicfunk bed, loopable, and with a funky "Beck-like" breakdown.
    Here's the result...the bassline is a nod to Gil-Scott Heron's "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" and yes, my funk guitar playing is crap.

    On Wed. I went trolling around Itunes for some UK alternaive pop/rock songs I really liked back in the 80's like House of Love, Psychic TV, Catherine Wheel, Love & Rockets, Ultravox, etc...
    Put this together in about 6 hours with those songs in mind:

    Made good use of the sustainer on a Fernades Retrorocket Pro that I bought recently. Great guitar for droning.
