After searching far and wide, I'm happy to report that my quest for a LP and Tele have come to an end. Here are the ones I've chosen to keep. If you see either of these guitars in the Emporium please resurrect this thread to remind me that my search is over. :banana

Very classy les paul. The tele is a classic as well.

Now you just need to sort out the perfect 335, Gretsch, and Strat. Might need a pointy guitar as well with a floyd rose if you play any Hair Metal... The saga continues...

I've got my Strat needs covered too thanks to Don Grosh. A nice semi hollow body is definitely in my future though. No Hair Metal for me anymore though.:RoCkIn

I'm with Mr. Hurtt, that plain top is drool inducing. Is that an R8?

That's correct. ;) And the Strat is a Grosh Retro Classic in case anyone is wondering.

Thanks! I wish I was "GAS FREE". I'm no longer looking for a Tele or LP, but the GAS continues for other guitars and amps.

I like that Tele...what color is that? Desert Sand or something like that?

I believe the finish color on the No caster is referred to as Vintage Blonde. It's a bit lighter and more yellow than the Butterscotch finish on the 52 Reissue Tele. I think Desert Sand is a finish option on the Baja Tele. They are all in the same Blonde ballpark. What really sets the No caster finish apart from the others is that it is a very thin Nitro and you can see the finish sink into the wood. Whether it actually enhances the tone is up for debate, but I do love the way the thin Nitro looks and feels.

Well you definitely scored with that Tele. I didn't know they were nitro, wow, that's really cool.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but just cool to know that others have the same tastes as I do sometimes. Here's my R8 and AV52RI...
