Have heard lately that this is a good amp company-
anyone here have or have owned one of these..?

Are they like a Dumble- ?
    Fuch- ?

how would you discribe them -

good for a blues player -??

Last, what is the price range of these ??

    thanks for your input.

Very much in the dumble vein of things. I AB'd a Fuchs and a Two-Rock, and thought the Two-Rock was much better. That's my opinion and others will disagree. To me the Two-Rock's have the best cleans out of any other amp that I've TRIED (there are others I have not). The drive on their models are very smooth. They are pretty pricey though. They typically range from $3500-$6500 for their signature amps (which sound as if god himself made them). They're site is www.two-rock.com. The build quality is fantastic and I know Bill and Joe are great at customer service (as are most boutique amp builders).

If you're interested in an older model two-rock that gets pretty good reviews around here, look up a guy labeled Tag. He's got some clips of a low-gain Emerald Pro. It's out of production, but you can snag one at Ultrasound in NYC (you can order over the phone). I heard some of his clips and he managed to get EVH's Unchained pretty well, as well as a very convincing dumble-esque smooth sound out of it too. The Custom Reverb Signature is probably Two-Rock's most popular amp. John Mayer uses them (you may not like his music, but he knows his gear and chops I think he's got 2 dumbles). From what I hear that amp is the creme de la creme.

I've owned and loved Two-Rock amps for the past couple of years. I'm going to buy another one.

IMHO, they are astoundingly wonderful amps. Worth every cent of the asking price.

Bill and Joe are really nice and talented guys as well, and they stand behind their products.

I've finally figured it out because of ToneGuru's post: John Mayer is tinycrumb. That is his name on eBay. He's been buying every Dumble item over the past 1+. And he's been buying things related to SRV (like Cesar Diaz stuff) as well as countless of interesting gear pieces. None of this matters, but I've been curious about it for awhile now.

I have been gigging with a Custom for about the last nine months and I can truthfully say it is the best amp I have ever owned.I play blues and classic rock, and occasionally the jazz casual...If you want to get into the Dumbley sorts of tones, you can pick a Custom up for about 2500(perhaps a little less)$.The guys at Two-Rock/K&M are the epitome of service to their customers and even potential customers.I used to play Blackface Fender Deluxes-Never again...If you are interested in these, give Joe or Bill a call after invading their website-you won't be dissapointed!

I figure yer kinda joking, fenderbender4, but...

FWIW, I think it's a good thing. At least these items are getting in the hands of someone who plays, and will be well taken care of.

I don't care about the Dumbles. I want to lay claim to shagging Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I've owned tons of great amps (literally) over the years, and my Two Rock LTD is really the best Fender 2 channel amp that they never made:dude
