    Hi Tag -

Well, my take seems pretty sad and pathetic next to yours.

I'm so glad you are recording well these days. I always loved your clips but the distortion was painful - this one was perfect. Cheers, J

Hey Tag, where do I click to hear the clip you're mentioning?

Thanks! I have posted lots of clips of my TwoRock, and this one should be very similar?? The only difference for the older clips is the mic, so now there is no clipping. :)

Very cool tone. I dig the PRS sound in general. Gets overused by the nu metal crowd, but really great sounding, versatile guitars that work nicely when played with some taste...

I dig the backing, too.. I'd like to play around with it. Where'd you get it?

Thanks for listening, and I agree on the PRS. My PRS Artist III is my favorite electric guitar. Its hollow with a trem, and SOOO resonate! The backing is from Ed Ds "Blues minor" thread. You can download it from there. :)

    Hi Tag,

    Conclusion from clip:
    1. I need a better guitar
    2. I need an Emerald
    3. I definitely need better chops
    4. I need a better understanding of harmonic concepts

Thanks for the great clip and the painful revelations! :D

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Tag,

Sounds great all around. Diggin your phrasing in particular. I would like to get my hands on a EM Pro LowGain and A/B it to my CR. I was talking to Scott the other day about it and he gave me a rundown on the TR line and the evolution of models.

    Peace,
    duffy

Tasty clip! Some very nice phrasing ideas in there, and great time. Damn, I need to try this backing after hearing all the cool clips here!

Thanks a lot! You made my day! I have been working so hard on my timing. I have been laying off any fast playing specifically to try and stay locked in. For the hyper person I am, its all a matter of forcing myself to stay relaxed mentally when improvising. Ill add the faster stuff later.

Cool note choices. A little different than some previous stuff you've posted.

Smokin tone!! Man the Em Pro does cut kick some major butt. We must be using very similar settings on our Em Pros because that's very similar to the tone I've been dialing it to lately. Love it bro. Thanks for the killer clip! BTW... dude, you NEED to have Andy ship you a TDS soon!! It's just what the doctor ordered. ;)
