just curious what you’d use if your main amp went down and what you’d use as a backup..besides your other two rock :)
I have a two rock crystal, but was considering a Princeton reverb as a backup.

Brunetti Singleman 50H as backup for the CLRS, Carol Ann Triptik for the Coral, although the last two are quite different, which is OK since both are great.

Redplate Blackloop ... in a similar ball park to the Two Rock Sensor, but gets much more nasty in a blackface, bottom falling out, kind of way.

I’ll use my Carol Ann Triptik if my TR Sensor takes a dump

None. My Sensor 35 has been stable as a rock since day one.

I don't always bring backup for my Studio Pro combo, but when I do, I bring DV Mark Raw Dawk head and speaker cable and connector. Does not cover blown speaker, though.

Would use Raw Dawk also for loud situations with extension cabinet. I run it from SP35's effects loop out to input of Raw Dawk. No more headroom issues that way.

Honestly, its either one two rock or the other, but for backup or bar gigs I use a modded Fender/ Marshall with pedals. It never really comes to that, tho - my two rocks have always come through. Haven't used anything live but the SSS or the Bloomfield 6v6 for a year or so.

But when I do, chances are it will be a Krinard modded Fender or Marshall... Not sure if that counts tho, so "non mod": SLO, VOX, or Fender.

OP- you use a Crystal as your main amp, very nice choice, I would get something like a Fender SR as a back up just so you are not swaying too far away from the Crystal sound if you ever need the back up. Really a lot of the other fenders like a Vibrolux would fit the bill.

OP, is your Crystal the 22W version Two Rock did for a period of time? If so, you might want to consider a Fender Deluxe Reverb as a back up if you want something a little more comparable than the Princeton.

I’ve got the 50 watt head with 1x12 cab
If I could find the 22 watt crystal combo I’d probably buy that as a backup lol! But I like your idea of a deluxe reverb as well
