Hello there.I'd like to know if you can get a mayerish type of overdrive sound(like in where the light is) with a studio pro 35 head along with a pedal, like the full drive.I got a two rock jet and loved the clean channel but I didn't like the lead channel.I couldn't get a sound that i liked out of it.I used the fulltone fulldrive on the clean channel and got these mayerish type of sounds, but not with the amp's lead channel. So i thought i'd give back the jet and get a studio pro (and save some bucks) since i don't need a second channel, and use a pedal for overdrive.Do you think i could do that?I liked the thick type of cleans that the jet offers. Are the studio pro's cleans similar? Are they thick?Or are they thin, kind of too bright sounding? Thanks a lot in advance

Sounds like you love your Jet clean channel, but right now don't bond with lead channel, as it doesn't give you JM like OD tones you desire. This amp has blend feature, remember clean and lead channel settings effect lead channel tone. Make sure you've played around enough with this.

Hopefully others here, like Traviswalk can chime in and better help you.

P.S. I have older Jet combo in Bue tolex running at 22-watts that I also run a TR Sig 1x12 cab with a TR1265R 8 ohm into 4 ohm on amp. I've yet to hear a PS sound better on clean channel to give me excuse to buy, though only heard clips on YT.

Yep that's right clean channel is great.I just dont see a use for the lead channel since I liked the clean+fulldrive pedal more for overdriven sounds. And since the studio pro's only channel is a clean one,I figure it should be good.As I said i'd like to get sounds like in the trio album and the where the light is concert(full and thick sounds, maybe a little dark, not very fenderish bright both for cleans and overdrive.I could do that with the jet's cleans and the combination of the clean and the pedal for drive). And I wonder what the owners of the studio pro(or both?!) have to say about it.Any help would be much appreciated.
