    heard that they exist =)

Thought (and still think) it is a good attempt to give some where in between strat and les paul. But have not seen anyone with one...

Anyone ? if yes, what did/do you like about it ?

A Mongoose has a larger body than a Tele or Tylerbastar. It's longer top to bottom but it's a regular Fender scale.

There are some things I like about it - The strat-style pickup switcher on the Retro, the alder with ash top on the Retro, the semi-hollow body, the knob placements, the two vol + two tone controls on the Special, the three pickup option.

I've had mine two years. It is somewhere between an LP and a Strat given the 25-inch-scale neck. Overall I'd says it's like a Strat and an SG combined since it's mahogany. I can play country to Van Halen, and Pride and Joy to Cheap Sun Glasses, on it no problem.

I've had a couple - it' has that great Tyler neck, for me that is the main thing.

Here in Singapore, it's like the great white shark. No one has heard or seen it in actual but we know it's somewhere out there.:rotflmao

I love my Mongoose!!! To me it's a great blend of Tele and ES-335 with some LP thrown in. It's probably my most versatile guitar, if I finally get around to installing a push/push to split the coils, it will definitely be my most versatile!
