Interdiction along the arteries. I was sailing from Guatemala to Panama and well off the coast of Nicaragua near Provedencia I saw a Coast Guard Cutter in the haze way off in the distance. It was a beautiful sight to see given the area's problems with piracy so I hailed them just for grins and they instructed me not to broadcast my position for a certain time (I forget - a couple of hours I think) because smugglers scan for information on their location. I would think they would have the technology to triangulate but who knows.

True, but he did have a whip, which is pretty much the ultimate weapon...right after the lasso, of course.

What makes you guys think they don't have one or more fully submersibles?

The real solution to this problem is for Americans to quit doing these drugs. That starts with education at a young age.

When our older son was in the Navy he volunteered for an assignment cruising offshore waters looking for drug runners. He had just gotten married so they took him off the list. He was disappointed.

Balls of steal. I love our military! You can see him take like one or two steps with water underneath his shoes, I can’t believe he didn’t slip.

I don't get the screaming militia in full riot gear for stopping a pedal-powered waterliner.

C'mon guys, it's diesel powered. There's no hamster wheel in that thing for the guys to pedal it with. That long tube on top... that's the engine exhaust.
