I'm struggling with the mix on this one, like I always do with heavier stuff...

How did you get those drum sounds out of an Uber?????




Sounds great Bob....
There's a little buzz on the top end of the rhythm and lead, but I'm sure the Mp3 has alot to do with it.

I wasn't easy!

Yep, this one really showed me the difference between my Excalibur Custom and Excalibur Original. I had the stock pickups put back in the Custom and they didn't wire it correctly, so I can't use it until I fix it. All that is to say, the Original is more vintage sounding, and brighter which really shows up through the Uberschall (not so much with the Shiva). Between that and using a G12H-30 on the left side rhythm and the lead, I think is what's causing that.

Next one, I'm using the Custom.

BRO................that's one sick sound! I have got to say that's one of the better all time heavy sounds. kind of similar to what i am shooting for but fail to often. NICE TONE!

Bob, that is brutal! Its nice to hear someone play heavy AND melodic at the same time.

What's your wah of choice - I've now heard you put it to good use on 2 tracks... Personally, I use the Bad Horsie II - never could use a wah for **** til I discovered the "optical switching"

Kevin, I use a Bad Horsie. I too like the optical switching. It works kind of like my brain does, lazily.

A little off topic...
But you guys should check out the Automagic Silver MAchine Wah....
All the RMC wahs in one unit with similar, non optical switching.. Put your foot on it and it's on....no lag time, and it's huge sounding...

Usually you can find them around $250-$275 new....
