That was full of bombast... I hope he's not serious.

Yeah, Newcomb often used decent iron and everyone at some time used Mullards... so LET'S FREAK OUT!!!

Also, that "RCA 5Y3" looks pretty GE to me.

And finally, the nudie shots revealed one non-original electrolytic, which was probably a stock-spec replacement... where exactly was the "conversion to guitar amp"?? I don't mean to get semantic, but plugging a guitar into a PA doesn't suddenly convert the PA to a guitar amp.

Still, I suppose that was an entertaining video segment.
