Father Time remains undefeated.
He's had a ton of "work" done to his face in recent years. I agree with you on the woman thing. He's an ugly broad! BTW I just showed that live clip to my Wife to get her insight. She said "Omg his face looks like the Cowardly Lion!" If you look at his eyes she has a pretty valid point.
I know he's a "rock dude" and all but damn it sure is a mess when folks refuse to age gracefully. Vince please just let it go buddy. You had a good run. Nothing wrong with that.
If you had been as successful at it as he was, you could do it.
Always happy to recycle my post with lyrics I transcribed years ago for TGP:
Heesawoscreemin shananananana niiiii
Blood stays on a stayayayayage
Put a tear in your tie
Demented buy a guy
Shoobie dumama wack, sumfingh sage
Tazer his wife
Days of our lives
Sinning round and round
Season your dither
Pizza Hut deliver
Pee strong and waft
Shout, Shout, Shout atchy debil!
Sorry but just NO!
It could be worse - you could be doing Lasik commercials. On the other hand, he's getting paid (or free surgery, or both) and I'm not.
Vince must not be too happy about the Crue retiring. Now he has to run the band, handle management, lose the gourmet staff cook and be responsible for everything else all while making 5% the cash in front of 300 people instead of 13,000.
I saw that tour in Phoenix. I don't remember Vince but VH was awesome.
I saw them right before they started their five final tours. Vince Neil came out winded and had the crowd do the choruses, The guitar player was propped up by the roadie, Tommy Lee threw his drum sticks out to the crowd, hit a guy in the eye and they stopped the show for a few minutes, and anyone who made eye contact with Nikki Six got herpes. They didn't sound terrible but I was hoping for something a little different.
A lot of people posting that they feel sorry he HAS to go out an do these small shows.
I'm not Vince's accountant but I seriously doubt he HAS to do it for the money. I doubt he would even have to work again if he didn't want to.
From what I understand he just actually loves being on the road and onstage. He obviously has his demons and addictions and I think the road and being on stage is part of that for him.
I'm not sure where I read this but I remember reading that when Motley would come off tour back in the day Vince would go stay at a hotel for a month or so (In the same city his house was located) before actually going back to his home.
I think he doesn't like sitting around the house and doesn't know what to do when he's not on the road. Just my opinion and I could be completely off base.
If you haven't read The Dirt, I highly recommend it.
Definitely one of the best (if not the best) Rock bios ever.
I'm afraid the movie they are doing on it is going to be sub par. There's just no way to actually cover all of that material and history properly in two hours IMO.
I wish they would do it as a Netflix season series....like 6-8 one hour episodes.
Casino gigs... where rockstars of the past go to supplement social security.
I COULD do it right now, then again there's good judgement. I was referring more to my musical growth in the past 30 years. I can still woop it up old school, but I've got so many more colors of crayons in my box all these years later.
That’s even better than what I’ve seen done with Creed’s “Arms Wide Open”.
The line "Pizza Hut Deliver" seems so appropriate these days. By the looks of Vince, my guess is the pizza guy has been coming over on a regular basis.
Vince's drummer is Zoltan Chaney, who's worth the price of admission all by himself if you enjoy high energy show drummers
If you're lucky, Vince won't show up and his band will play the show without him.
If Vince doesn't show, maybe they can pull someone from the crowd to replace him.
