Hmm. Not so excited about the limited numbers and "fairly expensive" part. I'd love to try one though. Sounds more like it's gonna be a buy it and try it pedal due to limited numbers.

I'll willing to bet it will be a killer pedal.

heh.... he said it takes pedals well "like a fulldrive."

OCD is one thing, but I find the fulldrive to be a very compressed pedal when adding extra drives.

Cool, but I see the Tri Stereo Chorus has been abandoned.

Assuming that V.4 will be better than versions 1 through 3....;)

I'm definitely curious. For some reason, every time Fuller says it's "not an OCD", I just don't believe it. Maybe it's just a slightly tweaked OCD (like a v.5) or something. Trower dug his OCD for a while, so why would he request Fuller do an OD that isn't, at least, similar to it?

Again, I'm really curious and would possibly take the leap if the $ isn't too prohibitive.

+1... It looks very OCD to me, as well. It would be nice to hear another flavor of that design, but I think the price is going to be higher...

Not too interested in the OD but this looks great:

2008 Coming up! Fulltone SS-TE....solid state tape echo ala the infamous EP-3 used by Page, EJ, etc.
I get #1, Page gets #2, EJ gets #3...what # will yours be?
Part of what makes the TTE so expensive is all the Nickel plated and Stainless steel everything parts, with this "EP-3" I'm going to try and make it less-frills, simpler package, smaller size, I'm trying to go SMALL. looking to have a street price around $550-$600 but I don't dictate that, the tally of parts, labor, and misc does.

How small???? fit on a pedalboard small? Hope so!

I keep wondering if it's just an OCD ver. 5, or perhaps an OD that can somehow cover the Fulldrive-OCD spectrum. Either way (and despite excessive GAS from all this), I'm pretty happy right now with my OCD ver.4, Throbak Overdrive Boost, and NKT Sunface, and I'm really trying to concentrate on my Strat and Dean Evo. The Strat needs a little work in spots (a couple new frets and maybe a new nut), and I need to find another Duncan Seth Lover for the bridge position in the Dean to match the one I just put in the neck (which sounds amazing).

Still, it's hard not to want one. I love Trower's clean tone the most (like on songs like "In This Place" and "About To Begin") where he uses the bridge p/u. I've always found it hard to nail that tone. I imagine that it's just an early seventies Marshall, set clean, but I don't own one; and besides, the new ones don't get that sound, except maybe the Vintage Modern, but I'm really not sure.

    I think it's a Fat Boost.
