Updating the aged hardware on an older Fender Custom Shop Relic - am I crazy?

Curious what people think about this. I have a 2007 '60 Relic inbound, and I am contemplating swapping in the newer patent pending saddles and single line tuners as well as a shallow drilled steel block.

The newer Custom Shops all use this hardware, and it just seems more "vintage accurate" to me, but I tend to obsess over dumb things

Thoughts?

I'd play it a while first. They always use nice hardware on CS guitars in my experience.
