I have had pacifica 112 sitting in the cupboard since about 2000 and after playing it the other day wanted to see what it sounded like with a new bridge.

Some of the tones are actually quite good and the neck is really nice to play. (I had upgraded wiring/pickups etc)

I want something that is cheapish and will slot straight in if anyone has any ideas?

    Cheers

From what I recall, the Yamaha bridges are different enough from a 'standard' Fender bridge that you're going to have a very difficult time finding a replacement (same goes for pickguards, btw).

I ended up putting some Graph-Tech saddles on mine... sounds good and I've never broken a string.

Why do you want to replace it?

Maybe something midgrade from Wilkinson or Gotoh?

Maybe I should just look into changing the saddles then, although some of the wilkinsons look like they might be good. I just feel like changing it to experiment really, see how a new brigde would effect the tone, sustain etc. My american std tele is my main guitar.

Where did you get your sadles? Did you stick with the original block?

    Cheers
