That is top mounted chassis, tubes point down.

Saw somebody using one and started to wonder which models were/are like that?

Small cab and top chassis, like old Traynors, but sized for rack mounting via optional ears is, imo, optimal.

Bulky amp cabs seem like a waste. Use vents for cooling, if needed.

I've often thought about doing that with my JCM800 combo.

not an expert, but I think the JCM600 series were "upside down" like that.
