I have a Samson C03USB Condenser mic. At the moment I plug the USB cable directly into the mic and the other end straight into my PC.

My soundcard in my PC isn't the greatest so I wanted to know if I can get a USB Audio Interface that I can use with my USB mic?

I know that a USB A/I is powered from the USB port of your PC directly into the back of it, but can I then plug a USB cable into the front of an A/I to use with my Samson USB mic?

Or can I only use an A/I with standard XLR connectors?

I want to buy a USB Audio Interface to take over from my sound card but I'm not sure if any are available to use with a USB input on the front of them.

    Any suggestions?

a USB mic is a mic with an audio interface built in. if it has XLR outs as well you can use it with an external interface if you'd like.

Let me add that the PC soundcard has no impact on the audio quality captured by the USB mic.
