As I look at the back of the cab only the left input remains. the middle switch and the input on the right are gone. this was one of neal schon's cabs and was obviously modded. still has the 4 original G12T-75 celestions inside. any idea what the impedance on this cab would be? thanks!!

The easiest way is to plug in a speaker cord into the cab and put a meter set to ohms on the other end.
    tip +
    sleeve -

16 ohms would read around 13
8 ohms would read aroun 5-6

thanks - opened it up and the other side of the input is a black wire and a white wire that go to the speakers. each of the four celestions inside has 16 ohms stamped on it. so does four 16 ohm speakers become a 4 ohm cabinet? or does that only count when using multiple cabs?

It all depends on how it is wired.
My guess its wired for 4 or 16 but do the meter test.
Here's a link to some common speaker wiring

got my digital voltage tester, set it for ohms, and when I touch the wires coming out the back of the 1/4" input it reads 3.9 - 4 ohms. mystery solved or not?
