    Hello everyone !
I was wondering about that war V30 UK vs V30 China.
Can anyone of you compared them in A/B test , in the same way ?

I digged almost all materials on web about and still won't be satisfied ...

And other question - All of current 4x12 ( any producer) is equipped with china V30 ?

I've had both in the same cab. Preferred the chinese to the english. And one chinese sounded better than all the rest.

What I'm saying is, there is no difference in tone.

I had completely fallen out of love with V30s, both English and Chinese, until I got my
Mesa Stiletto cab (this is Mesa's take on a classic/vintage cabinet design, it sounds a
bit snappier and less bassy than the Rectifier cab). I absolutely love the sound of their
V30! If you can borrow one for a test run, by all means, do it. My best guess is that you
will end up wanting to buy it.

I have an Orange cab with chinese V30s. They sound really good in that cabinet

Slow your roll, man. Damn. Buy one of each and then you'll know - period, end of story. What "fact" is it that you think we can tell you? If I say I like the UK made better than the Chinese ones, is that what you want - you want a popularity contest winner?

There are no facts - there is "information that Celestion tells us/publishes that may or may not be accurate" and then there are opinions. There's only one guaranteed-to-never-fail way: try both.

All cause of the mesz about china v30 is worser because of "harshness".

You should just gather all V30s and their clones and get to work! That would be the best and only way to know!

From all the reading about it I've done on forums other then TGP, there's no difference that can't be attributed to the fact that most UK v30s are by now well used and chinese V30s are newer so there's more chance they're not broken in. That in itself explains most of the belief that UK V30s are somehow warmer or more musical. It's got nothing to do with where they were built.

I've also seen it said that UK V30s were actually less consistent.

How well can you actually play the guitar? Are you in a band?

Perhaps your time would be better spent practicing rather than worrying about any minute or perceived difference between chinese and english V30's.

I have two chinese V30's and once broken in, with the right amp, and at band levels they can sound really good.

I consider my Chinese V30 to be one of my top 5 favorite speakers. It really shines at stage volume.

I was going to chime in until you lied to tgp. Two dimebag fans (both usernames make reference to the guy), asking the same question, in the same broken ass English? Get real.

Anyone who might be looking for dimebag's tones should not be worried about whether the V30 is MIC or UK... and probably ask more questions about earplugs.
