Looking at one. Just curious. Havent seen it yet or the repair.

How much do you take off for the headstock repair?

I'd say around $1500 if everything else is straight. Maybe a tad more.

Wow, my top dollar for a pristine early 90's with a professional repair wouldn't be over 1K.

A head stock break can take off as much as 50% but it depends on how bad the break was, how solid the repair is and how clean it is.

So your best bet is look at the average price of a 92 custom with the same color and features, then figure half of that for a really bad repair. If the repair is really bad like screws hanging out and what not just stay away.

I'm gonna go with 1200 if there are no other issues

A pro headstock repair actually makes the guitar stronger, but it's still a repair. My 72LP Deluxe was repaired in 73, held up until about 4 years ago, then the guy that repaired it the first time, fixed it again, and now you can hardly see where it was cracked. Saying what it's worth is tuff, IMO, on basically any repair, but I wouldn't worry about it breaking in that spot again anyway.
