I got rid of a Black Pearl a while back and decided to stick with only my Valvetrain Savanah and some pedals. I was pretty much only playing at home, and only country. I miss it.

I'm gonna be doing some gigging again soon, and have an offer on the table to swap my Savannah straight-up for another BP 1 12 combo. I'm very tempted to do so as I plan to buy a Concord specifically for recording with this summer anyway.

What say you, gurus of tone?

Do it. You miss the Black Pearl and plan on getting another amp anyway. I love my BP and couldn't dream of getting rid of it for just about anything else. Good luck.

Same here...I have the 2x12 combo.

I've have one of just about everything and for my sound the BP does it best. They really are special amps.
