This transition is a catastrophe. Lots of complaints on Internet about service problems.
We have tv and phone, but no internet. Also no On demand or search functions on tv.
Spent a lot of time on phone with CS.
Got disconnected and no call back from first person then tons of reboot attempts with second person then disconnected and no call back.
My neighbors are having issues too.
Sorry for crappy grammar and composition. Typing this on phone.
    Anyone else having problems?

We have Frontier for phone service.

    They suck.
I can't even access my voice mail.

Hmm, our work phone system and internet is still working fine. I almost threw out the first bill from Frontier thinking it was junk mail. My boss would have killed me if the phones got shut off. :D

Based on the posts above mine, it sounds like they ought in invest in customer service first.

Total clown show. I think I have most functions back after five weeks! But internet often slows down inexplicably. I filed a complaint with the FCC and got an immediate response from Frontier corporate. Whether they can fix it is a different issue.

We, too, were forced in to the switch in Sarasota. What's the alternative, Comcast?

As it happens, I am giving serious thought to cutting the cable. We have 5 tvs in the home, and we already have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and we could add on Hulu. Our main tv is a "Smart" tv, so it's good to go. I could get Roku units for the others and hire someone to install an antenna. Then, it's just the Internet issue.

I really felt blind-sided when Verizon sold us off to Frontier.

Naah, we have a fiber box within 100 yards of the house, but the best we can get without paying a fortune is 24Mbps. 50 Mbps doubles the price and 100 Mbps is ridiculous. I wish they'd uncork the pipe, but they're dark overlords, so what can you do? Our house is set up for gigabit (gigabit router, Cat6, etc), but they're choking it at their modem.

My transition to Frontier was flawless. So many folks have had a hard time.

    Guess I got lucky. :dunno

Only a landline through them for my biz... but I think for less than what I pay for that ($65) I can move the number over and add another phone to my Wireless plan and it would be cheaper. Pretty sure I'm going to kiss them off within a month.

I had Verizon FIOS, and they transitioned to Frontier. Had an issue with my reception. Called customer service, and they re-set my DVR and set-top boxes. Did not fix reception, but they DID delete all my paid subscription channels, and could not restore them. Finally got a tech out here after a week, and he had it up in less than a minute. Frontier sucks, but the others are just as bad.

Landline and tv are working, we just need internet.
I got tired of all the unplugging and plugging back in for an hour with CS.
I can just picture the CS person playing Minecraft on another screen while they "troubleshoot " the problem.
I asked several times for a service call but they insisted on trying some other BS thing on their end, with me moving a 500 pound corner sectional couch to check the battery in some other wall unit.
It was absurd and I'm totally pissed.
VOD was down all of April while they reconfigured that.
I read online that Verizon totally dialed in the transfer, but Frontier is totally botching it.
    Sorry for the vent.
My wife NEEDS internet for work and her online degree program.

The funny thing is that here in the Tampa Bay area, the alternative to Frontier would be to go with Brighthouse for TV, Internet, Phone. Well guess what? Yep - they are being sold to Charter, and will soon be undergoing their own "seamless" transition......

    Update-
4 a.m. the internet is back on!
    Freak-out and over-reaction complete...
    Still don't trust them, though.

I don't think that the Charter takeover of Brighthouse will be nearly as bad as the Fios mess. Verizon sold off 3 states to Frontier. Charter is taking all of Brighthouse. A lot of the problems with the Frontier takeover of the Fios market were do to things like forcing you (in the TX, FL and CA markets) to move your verizon.net email to AOL, changing their backbone from Verizon to Level3, switching over to their CATV head end, etc. Since Charter is taking Brighthouse as a whole it shouldn't be nearly as bad.
