I have a pretty big pedal board with a mix of stomp boxes, wahs, boosters, a DL4, a whammy, etc. I play a strat with a Fender tube amp.
I never used to have much of a buzz problem through the amp, but we moved to a new basement and the "noise" is unbelievable. When I click the distortion pedal, the noise is so bad I can't even hear my notes.
I'm assuming the power in the basement is "dirty" and I need to condition it. So, I looked at a couple of the different Voodoo Labs devices.
Does anyone have any experience with them? Will that solve my problem? And, do you recommend one over another for me?
PS: going direct into the amp just from my guitar sounds fine. I tried to isolate each pedal to see if one was grounded improperly, and I couldn't locate one main offender - not even the distortion pedal.
