    Hi,

I'm just taking a break here from trying out a new Suhr Pro.
I've had it for three days and spent quite a few hours with it.
It surly must be one of the best bargains out there at this time.

This has to be brief. The Pro is calling. :D

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Hi,

    This one's white.
    What's yours?

Ths DSH humbucker really sings when distorted. While that is tru it is also excellent for clean sounds as well.
The V60LP's are well documented so I can only augment the reputation they already have.
The tone control will probably go down in history as the most musical tone control ever.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

    Hi,

Here's a picture of the guitar. Haven't bought it. Have it for review.

What kind of frets (stainless?) and neck carve do these Pro Series have? I just got my first Suhr Classic and I am absolutely hooked. Do they only come with a humbucker in the bridge?

    Hi, mine's black.

All the pickups sound very musical. I was (very) familiar with V60s, as I had them in several previous guitars, but the humbucker sounds very nice too. It sounds much nicer than I anticipated with the volume rolled back. Overall this guitar is a lot of instrument for the money, that's for sure!

    Looks great Journo.

Is the bridge pup have a coil tap?

Can you fit the SSC to it?

The frets aren't stainless. They seem to be very close to 6150s, which I really like. Yes, they only come with a HB in the bridge.

    Hi Gregory,

Frets are heavey but not stainless.
Neck is my favourite 60's vintage standard.
    Fretboard is compound radius 10-14.
    Only SSH config.

Plays as good as my Suhr Classic.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

I played my first gig with it on Friday.

In addition to the amazing playability of this guitar, it sounds great in a band context, both "pushed" cleans and overdriven.

I play through a Jeckyll & Hyde and a MI Audio Crunchbox into a .50 Caliber Mesa/Boogie combo. I really like the tones I'm getting.

Do you find that the 046 low E is a little flabby and buzzy? I ended up putting on an 049 which was a major improvement.

    Enjoy the guitar :)

    Hi Unburst,

The HB has automatic split while in position 2. In position one there no split option.

I don't know about the SSC.

    Cheers,

I got mine from Indoor Storm, right after NAMM.

You may want to call them up and see if they have any on order.

I'd love to know what the price and availability is on these as well. What is the story with the Suhr Pro series? Is it the same quality/materials as a regular Suhr, but you can't custom order? If so that would be grrrrreeat.

    John,

Any plans for a Suhr PRO Classic? I'd bet the demand is HUGE!

    Hi John,

I guess this is also the answer to the question about a Classic T.

If you (or anyone else) has a status report on the trademark issue and have time to write/post then I'm sure it would make for interesting reading to quite a few of us.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

PS My CAR Classic is still my #1 guitar.
