just got an Audix i5 mic and slapped a little backing track together.
It's the VHT Deliverance and Suhr....
I used one setting and 2 pickup configurations....I just double tracked everything.........
Lay something down on it if you like it...
I kept the rhythm tracks down to allow for a lead without being too much...

Bad timing due to 9 beers...

    Thanks bro.....
Well tomorrow, I'll lay down a lead track sober....LOL
I was busy all night playing with the mic and running wires in my studio. It was a last minute backing I wrote to a few drum loops...
Now that I'm set up, there will be more to come ASAP.

I love everything especially over the break part....
I knew you kicked ass on guitar, but I didn't know you could set the fret board on fire like that too....
    Just awesome....

    Right freakin' on, guys!

    SteveVHT - very cool clip.

    Ed - nice take, bro.

BK - cripes! - killer take, mate.

    Stevie - very nice feel.

    Kudos all.

Slightly OT, but VHT-related: I've got the Charlie Nice CD here featuring Anthony Truglio (Trug!) playing a range of VHT amps. Great player & awesome tones, but what would you expect from a man who just got off the road w/ Page Hamilton and Helmet...

    Damn!

Ed: Man... I just hate you... Funky bitchen' stuff and what a tone...

    Brian: Sick!:dude You monsta'!

Mr Fryette: Rumors about your playing were wandering around here in Greece and now here it is! AWESOME!

I loved the Deliverance tone and Steve's backing track and did a take too, my guitar is a little lower in the mix and I've messed a little with the backing track's eq'ing :) I'll post soon!

So here is my grungy take:

    http://www.mp3lizard.com/download.cfm?id=18085

It is my old-n-rusty 1974 Gibson Les Paul Signature (semi hollow)--> Chicago Iron Octavian (bitchen' pedal!!!) --> Maxon SD9 --> Bogner Uberschall --> THD 2x12 (mic on the V30)--> SM57

    I hope that you'll dig!

    Myron,

    Bitchin'!

I think this is one of my alltime favorite backing track Gear Page threads. Everybody truly tears it up and down. Digging it.

BTW, I truly dig the backing track to boot.
