Looking for suggestions on a pedal that would do this. Tried a fuzz face & Skreddy Screwdriver before & after the vibe but only added gain/noise.
    I don’t have clean/transparent boost to try.

Sabbadius’68 Funky Vibe. It sounds great, I have had a bunch of vibes, and usually run the intensity on full or almost full. Sometimes I want the throb to punch through a bit more. I’ve got the volume up on the amp, and have tweaked the eq which makes a difference.

@Just1more A good MIAB could do the trick. Uni-Vibes tend to really like a nice, loud Plexi-style amp.

holy cow that looks like a monster. Soulbender into a deja vibe is what I'm working with. If I needed to do what you're describing I would think of an xotic super clean / sweet booster

Any suggestions on a MIAB pedal?
Amp is a JTM45/100 Wallace clone running at around 6.

The barber direct drive is a miab that works well with a Marshall... Not all of them do because of the midrange, something with bmt controls may work for dialing it in ... Maybe a jhs angry Charlie but I haven't tried one of those

Hmm, I see. I wouldn't recommend running a MIAB into a pre-existing Marshall-clone then. It can make your amp itself flubb-out and not sound good.

The next approach would be a clean boost, something that doesn't necessarily add drive or distortion. Just simply more volume & output.

There's many out there, Xotic makes a lot of good ones and I would check out their website. A google search for 'Best Clean Boost Pedals' would give you infinite results, it really depends on your budget and which you like the best. But it may help your Vibe-dilemma.

A Klon clone might work as well, I use that as a clean boost for a lot of things.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I usually have a clean type boost on hand but sold them. I’ll look into one.

    Pete Cornish 3Q1/Boost

    Roger Mayer 4644 Drive.

    Mayer Voodoovibe+. Yuge Throb

Killer Amp by the way. JTM45/100 for me is King of the Hill.

    I have a LTD Ed Metro GMP45 head, and 4 Pulsonic G12Ms.

I run a Voodoovibe +, and also have both the 3Q1, and 4644 Drive. 4644 Drive is Low/Medium gain, of harmonically rich Drive.

    @Just1more

Another trick is finding the internal-trimpot inside of the Vibe to increase the brightness of how the internal light pulsates. This can certainly give you a thicker, deeper vibe.

You could email Sabbadius on which trimpot adjusts that, though it's easy to find and quite common with most vibes out there.

True, I have done that before, marking where it was at and usually end up returning it there. It usually ends up being the happy medium for other aspects of the effect.

That Metro is an awesome amp, just a little “more” when you add the extra 2 tubes.
The RM Vibe I have never tried. Do you use the RM and/or the Cornish with it, or the throb is enough?

I don’t know what boost works best with vibe, but I do know that a jtm 45/100 on 6 is no joke! Awesome.

Can you push the vibe output? I find that useful for Trower-like throb.

I wonder if a simple Boss or MXR EQ pedal would work for you...you could boost the overall level and then use the individual faders to make tweaks.

Good idea. Would be worth a try, the separate bands could do the trick, thanks. I usually have access to a bunch of gear/pedals for this kind of thing, but everything is in lockdown now.

Throb is enough with the Voodoovibe+.

Though if you want to revoice the Vibe, the 3Q1 is great to do it with.
VV+ sounds fantastic on its own.
