I just won a Vibroverb on Ebay with a trashed grill for $700! Because I got it for a good price, I'm looking into replacing the stock oxfords with something else. Any recommendations for that specific amp?

I want a nice 60's sort of jangly tone with it. I'm looking for an early Who tone (The kids are alright, can't explain, etc.). Something that's nice and complex when playing clean. I play a Les Paul Junior and a telecaster. I was thinking of some Fender Eminence blue frames or maybe Weber Signature Alnicos, since I already have 3 amps with ceramic speakers. Any other recommendations?

I've decided to go with the eminence 1028ks in mine. Listened to all of the 1st at the eminence website and liked them the best.
congrats on your new old amp.

Weber 10A125's, 30 watt voice coil, light doping around the cone. Also, ask them to break them in.
