Here's something I made in an afternoon of playing around with Final Cut Pro. Just a few of the tones I use with my main gigging pedalboard and OD-100. Cab is a CAA 2x12 with Vintage 30s. Rest of the details in the info section.

P.S. never mind the outrageous visual effects, I was just having fun :D

I can't watch the video right now but the title of this thread makes me think of Michael Landau.

That was very, very hard to watch...

However it was super easy to listen to!

OK Just watched the video and it's great. I'd often thought about buying the Maxon SD-9, mainly because Landau uses it, but I keep hearing bad reports about it being harsh sounding, although yours doesn't sound harsh. Is your Arion SCH modded? Mason at Vertex does a Landau mod to those pedals.

The trick with the Maxon is to never keep your guitar volume on 10, this softens it considerably. Also I set the tone knob just a hair above minimum.

The SCH-1 is stock, the Landau mod sounds interesting though.

It's part of a song called E Major Blues which is a work in progress. Should be on the next album.

Did you really play Zappa's "Muffin Man" riff? Loved it!

And, dammit, now I want a Octafuzz - loved that tone on the Octave mode!

Yup that was Muffin Man alright! Such a great riff. We jam on that song every now and then at gigs.

The Octafuzz is a no-brainer. Two really great sounds epecially into an amp that's already cookin'.
