I have a Badger 30 and I'm REALLY interested in the PT50. I love the Fender clean/Marshall crunch "in one box" thing.....


I've seen Pete's demo of the 100, could you do a video of your tones thru the PT50?

Would be much appreciated.

Sorry guys. I don't have the time or set up to record it with any more than my phone right now. Phone would sound so bad it isn't worth the time. We are in the middle of doing a new CD. So, everything is setup for that. I think the Pete Thorn video is very representative of this amp. The 50 isn't all that different. Just less headroom. According to Chris at Suhr it is just a tad sweeter than the 100. But otherwise, identical.

If you like the PT100 there is no reason you won't dig the 50 unless you need just huge headroom. It is plenty loud.

I was going to start a new thread on this topic... but I'll post here first: How do you guys get a clean, up front recording from your YouTube video postings? Mine seem to come out compressed while the video looks grainy. ?!

All I did was hold my iphone up and walk around. It uploaded to YouTube directly from the phone.

Some guys will use iMovie to mix an audio track to the phone video.
