    Back in 1981 I plastered guitar and amp ads all over one wall in the basement living room. The ads were clipped out of Guitar Player and International Musician magazines (ads dating from about 1976 to 1981).

    I was hoping to see some of those old Fender ads that read something like, “you'll find Fender in the strangest places”, where the guys riding on a cable car, surfing, etc., all with his Fender guitar.
