Does anyone remember the Delta Labs Acousticomputer fromthe late 70's?
Thanks, I had one of these on loan for a couple of months back then. Did not want to give it back, but could not swing the 2k to keep it.
I may add that I've only used old H910 for slight detune by a few cents, never really used those for significant pitch shifting / harmony. Glitchy indeed, but they had a nice "sound".
The H3000 I found to "sound" real close and may be just as "good" (not talking pitch shifting performance here) with slight different flavor, when talking about warm-fat-"organic" yet with great clearity & depth-spread sound quality. Pure pitch shifting performance & capability is another story for sure, H3000 is light years ahead the good old H910 pioneer.
H910 : 1500$
Readout option 02 : 125$
2nd output option 04 : 240$
Keyboard (mono) : 500$
Keyboard (polyphonic) $600$
So an expanded H910 with poly keyboard was 2465$.
What could you buy with that money in 1975?
I have honestly no idea I was not around yet I would guess quite a nice car with a cool big V8 in it?
Call Nate at Get Off My Case; those guys build all our road cases; they are very well made and he may even hook you up a bit if you tell him your in the West Coast familia!
Ummm, never had any of my 80/81's go down, nor my MPX-1's...Ditto for my SE-70'S, Chandler digital echo's...and eclipse
Had a 2290 years ago...
Good question, the equivalent purchasing power is almost $11 000 today.
After years of passing on them I finally picked up a Dytronics tri-chorus.Talk about thick, chewy, spacious chorusing.wow.
Everybody knows this material here - i am sure, but this is without the Japanese narration:
Pretty difficult to find...... I'd love to try one out!
Cool stuff, I had never heard the whole session before, thanks for sharing.
Btw, always found this to be one of the very best interpretations of "Little Wing" right there (last instrumental "demo" piece Mike is playing at the end).
Beautiful playing, loved it! Landau is ridiculously good.......
What's on the picture?
(work in progress)
Well, well. Did you know the TERC circuit board looks just like that?
But the Dyno instead.
I call it Tri Stereo Schmoo
I would love to know what preset that "infinite switch" is on. I'm a big fan of the infinite reverbs & have an 'ol Lexicon PCM81.
Anything new with the schmoo device?
