    Hey everyone.

    My name's Pete.

    :RoCkIn

I'm Lead singer and guitarist in Ska Punk outfit, WOBBLY BOB (www.myspace.com/wobblybobmusic)

Yet I prefer to play 70's Rock (Led Zep, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Queen etc.)

    Here's the gear I use:

Jackson JS-30 Guitar (Regret ever getting it. I hate locking tremelo's and Jacksons! Am trading it in September for a Epiphone Les Paul 'Black Beauty'. Ideally I would love the Gibson version, or even better the Jimmy Page signature remake, but they've sold out and I'm a poor student!)

Marshall JTM-30 (The '96 Plexi Combo remake. Sounds pretty accurate, though a bit rough round the edges. Would absolutely LOVE a real JTM-45...yet I do not have 10 grand to spare. lol.)

Pedalboard (2 layer homemade job, which, incidentally, I'm selling if anyone's interested...)

    Pedals:
    Electro-Harmonix Hot Tubes Distortion
    Korg DT-10 Tuner
Boss Super Chorus (soon to be replaced by TC Chorus/Flange pedal)
    Keeley Compressor Deluxe
    MXR 6-band EQ
Small Stone EH4800 Phase Shifter (Broken :( )

I am a complete tone geek, so I hope I am welcome on this board!

Hey Pete! Ska RULES! I played with a very popular Boston Ska band in the early 90s, "Steady Earnest".
Just listening to some Toasters this morning.
    Welcome!-mark

    Welcome to TGP...

Actually, I've always thought ska and rock go very well together for guitar players of the rhythm persuasion (and funk, too!).

I've always said: "If you can play the 'off beats', then the 'on beats' are a breeze", right?

    Hi Pete
Sounds like you lot would provide a great night out - and I love that horn section - good luck with the band!

    Welcome to TGP...

Under The Sea and Ghostbusters... good to hear some fun ska today, my daughter had a big smile. Well done.

A bit heavier... but my favorite Skunk bands are AAA, The Suicide Machines and Falling Sickness.
