I bought a Vistalux Tweed Deluxe Amp the other day...
    Great sounding little amp!!
    http://www.vistaluxamps.com/
Well while there I heard Scott (the owner/builder of Vistalux)...
play thru this Super he had sitting there...I loved the tone!!
    KILLER ,KILLER sounding amp...
I've wanted one of these for years, but had never really seen or heard one before...
I kept telling myself I didn't need an amp with that much wattage...
so I bought the Deluxe & left...all the time having that Super's tone still in my head...
Well I called Scott up today...
he still had the Super...so...I took my butt back over there ...
and well I am now the owner of two Vistalux Tweed amps ;^)
I got home & borrowed my brothers Tele ( my guitar is in the shop)
and have been picking ever since...Man I love this amp!!!

    Hey Zane,
What is that green wire that appears to be attached to the back panel? I see it in the last couple of photo's.

    Beautiful looking amp BTW. Terry

congrats on the new amp, I've never heard of Vistalux amps but it looks very nice. I just got a new Victoria Super last month and I'm with you all the way--these are nice amps, very different sounding than the Deluxe. Louder, to be sure, but also more versatile. The 10s respond much more quickly than the 12 inch speakers. Mine sounds great with any guitar--strat, Les Paul, Tele, you name it, no pickup bias at all. I really dig how cranking up the treble adds some crunch to the sound. The clean sounds you can get out of the Super are amazing--very crystalline, something I had not normally associated with the tweed amps. More than any other amp I've ever played the Super makes each position on the 5 way switch of my strat sound totally distinct.

That grounds the adhesive shielding on the back panel to the chassis.
