I don't usually use a volume pedal, generally I play a Fender and use the volume knob for swells, etc. But I will be doing a gig where I may need a pedal for some of the tunes. I broke out an old Roland that I had in the drawer, I originally bought it to use as an expression pedal. Anyway I tried it out and it was an incredible tone suck, as well as cutting back the volume even when floored. There has got to be better stuff out there.

So, what's a good volume pedal to get???

No help? What are you guys using? Looks like the Ernie Ball might be good, but I see Roland has a new one out too.

I love my Ernie Ball Volume Jr. Has a switch internally that lets you choose between audio and linear taper. Not sure if anyone else offers that...
