Volume pedal

    For those of you who use them, where in the signal chain do you place your volume pedal? I just got an Ernie Ball passive, not the Jr., and would appreciate your input! thanks, greg

    I put it 1st... but alot of people like to put it right after overdrive, etc....

    1'st in line... basically to just take the place of my guitar's own volume knob. I want to be able to clean up my guitar by rolling back the volume which won't happen if you put it after the overdrive...

    Don't stick it before a filter device like an Emma Discombobulator.

    That's how I like mine as well for the same reason, although it is after the Wah.

    +1 on the before modulation... though i have been known to run it pre-gain as well.
