1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

I have an older PP and I just tried to power up a DD20, the lights flash on/off but it never powers up
according to the online manual for the current PP I should use 5/6 jacks and with the dip switch set to off

Does the older one not supply enough current?

    tried known good other cables

No, the older Pedal Power can not power the DD-20. The DD-20 requires 9V at 200 mA. However, I think the new Pedal Power 2 PLUS is designed to be able to power the Boss Twin pedals.

You may want to call Digital Music and see what they say.

You need a PP2+ or have yours upgraded which isn't cheap.

The cheapest option may be to just get a boss PSA adaptor and have the dd-20 use it's own wallwart

My PP2 (not + model) powers my DD-20 just fine. If you search you may find a thread from several months ago on this.

It is somewhat hit or miss with the PP2. Mine didn't power my DD20 at all.
