Is there a pedal that can give you a Vox-ish AC30 TB sound thru the clean channel of an amp? I see that Vox has the new Cooltron Over the Top Boost pedal coming out, but I have heard alot of negatives about the original Cooltron pedals.

    Thanks for the info.

Now, anyone have one they want to sell? PM if you do with the price and whether it is the old or new version.

    Thanks

The TBIAC is a great pedal, but consider the BJF Emerald Green Distortion Machine also ;)

Yeah, someone else mentioned that one to me also. They seem a little pricey for the features. The TBIAC has more features and is cheaper.

I can't seem to find it on ebay. The only one I find is an old one and it had 6 days left. Can you give me the link?

The TBIAC will also take 18v, or at least the old style ones will.

There are 4, 5 and 6 knob variations on the TBIAC. I've owned the 5 and 6 knob versions (6 knob has a second channel that is based on the Foxey Brown). Both sound very similar , with the 5 knob having a little grainier quality to the OD tones (in a very good way) and the 6 knob being a little smoother with a more gradual progression into overdrive as you turn the gain pot. IMHO you can't go wrong with a good 5 knobber if you can find one for cheap. Good luck.

BJF Emerald Green. My new love! Don't let the 3 knobs fool you. It has plenty of range. Check it out. It should be the end of your quest.
