Vox AC30CC1 combo to head conversion complete.

    I'm done the conversion except for putting the trim on and staining the cabinet, and properly attaching the grill cloth to the front panel of the head(staples in use right now lol).

    It turned out great, no more rattle! I made the cabinet a bit over-sized, and it seems to have cut some of the harsher high-end, which is what I set out to do. An added bonus is that the reverb for some reason sounds a lot richer than when it was a combo.

    All in all I am very pleased, and it passed the final test, practice with the band, with flying colours.

    Looks pretty good. When I had my AC30CC1 I didn't have tube rattle issues, but I found it awkward to carry. With the 212 combo being a little wider, I think it would be easier to 2 people to carry it. Still I wished I had gotten the head version, I did get the AC30CC1 when they were blowing them out though, so can't complain there.
