Started a thread about this a few days back.
77 is 1300
55 is ???
33 is 699

According to some other youtube videos. The Virages are made in Japan at first I woud assume these are too. I am not sure with those prices though that Japan is a realistic producer of these instruments. More likely Korea or China. Hopefully they are maybe assembles in Japan or set up at the Virage factory. I really am praying that 77 is a nice guitar. I want one bad.

FYI the new VOX Custom shop is up in Navato California just across the golden gate bridge from SF.

Fairly positive its street if it was MSRP these things would be dirt cheap. Plus most people at Namm know what you mean when you ask them the price.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't near the signature character limit.

I'd like to check out that 55 series single cutaway. Anybody know when these'll be hitting the street, and where they're made?

I'm so curious about these pickups! It sounds like they have a lot of potential but I don't want to put too much confidence in them. Just going by the crappy NAMM clips, though, it seems like they do a Teleish twangy single coil sound in the neck and bridge really well, and the P90 setting sounded pretty ballsy as well. Not sure if the humbucker mode has the girth of a PAF or anything but honestly, I have decent hopes for these! Especially if those pickups could be used in other guitars.

Too bad the double cutaways look so pointy and a bit blegh to me. Still nice, but... the Virages looked so much cooler! It's a shame they're still $2500 even though they're MIJ and not selling at all. Maybe eventually Vox will learn and bump them down to $1500 where people might actually consider buying them.

I just saw this in a UK guitar mag story on the new Vox guitars:

Series 77: Korea
Series 55: Korea
Series 33: Indonesia

Yeah, I'd also like to know if anyone's seen one of these in the flesh or even played them. On my side of the planet they're not available yet.

The LP-style 55 is of interest to me. Would like to hear some first-hand opinions or any demonstration of the tones.

Can't seem to find one locally, but that's not a surprise here in Fender/Gibson country.

Bumping for impressions!
