Anyone out there compared the two? I've got a Voxer that should arrive any day, but I've been hearing great things about the Reinhardt, also-Anyone with input re comparisons? Thanks for the input!!:)

I can personally vouch for Bob!

He is a great guy who makes a fantastic amp, in fact he sent me an amp to try out a few months ago cause he wanted to get some feedback on his new creation "Ampzilla". This thing was exactly as he describes, a take no prisoners high gain EL-34 monster. I have spoken with a few happy customers of his and have spoken with him on several occasions in the past. There is no doubt that he will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied.

    Where is Hee Haw?
He has one or two Reinhardts.

Here's the EL34 Ampzilla he built for me. It sounds even better that the one you tried. It's actually purple but my camera makes it look indigo or blue. I have a matching Reinhardt 2x12 on the way.

I agree, Mrs. Bob is wicked with the tolex.

His wife does all the custom tolex work, she is great!

I've played a Voxer before...pretty cool amp if you're looking for the EL84 sound. It has a unique sound that's all its own and I gotta say, Gabi's a good guy!

Bump...still interested in ANY reviews of the Voxer. I know cocheese has one, and I've read his review. He had great stuff to say.

All you guys who are declaring Reinhardt the winner, have you ever played a Voxer?

I'm interested in any of your experiences with Gabriel's Voxer 18, ifyou have any.

I was going to post a pic of my head.......AND THERE IT IS!!

This is the absolute best sounding JTM45 type amp that I have ever heard. I like to run this thing loud and clean [ish]. What a winner.
Would love to hear a Gabriel tho...

Still, I am more than happy with the quality, beauty and tone of this head. M.E.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion...but you're actually not doing Nick any favors with these kinds of posts, IMHO. How about posting some reviews of Nick's amps in their own threads? I'm thinking that's probably a better way to support Mr Greer and his amps.

Just trying to help someone in search of Tone honestly . Nick got me mine and I've been playing and playd everything in the last 27 years . This forum I feel is about help and Tone and opinions . Even though we all know opinions are all like something we all have . :AOK

Thanks, it's not modesty, the Voxer is a good amp, it does something completely different from the CAM18. For those looking for great overdrive tones from EL84s in the 18 watt range, I'd look nowhere other than Gabi at Gabriel Sound Garage...His amps are quality pieces of gear and he is a stellar guy! His build quality is high and he uses quality components. His amps do exactly what he says they will do. This is an area that I do not wonder into as I build no amps with EL84s (the Stinger is being phased out), thus my reason for commenting. Glad you like your amps NGTA, I always appreciate the business as do my dealers. Thanks folks!
