    Hey All,
Thanks for having me here on TGP. This year my goal is to spend less time in the shop and more time on the computer, so heres a thread dedicated to guitars that come out of my shop. I hope to contribute and give back.

    Phenomenal work Scott!

We met briefly in the Fall of 2009 at the SCGC's parking lot when you're working on your SCGC F-style guitar if my memory serves me right :) Richard introduced us but I was not sharp enough to know who you are :)

Thank you! I do remember meeting you, after looking at your website. It looks like your off and running building some nice acoustics. Congrats and best wishes for 2012! Maybe we will meet again.

    stunning?
    yeah --- hell, yeah!
    as usual.

(i always love the copper pickguards & details, of course!)

any fuller shots of that phoenix, sw?
    headstock shots?

    so beautiful.....
one day, i'd really like to try one of these..... esp. if it featured a fully functional "vibrato"-bar bridge.

Haaha, thanks Pete! I appreciate the welcome.

Thanks Splatt, heres a couple other shots of that guitar. I will be building one with a Bigsby pretty soon, but it will be going to Japan.

Always love following your facebook feed Scott! Just amazing stuff!

BTW those Regals are no joke. I just played a set yesterday and they are freaking cool as can be! (and hotter than I imagined!)

Right on Doug! Thanks man and I appreciate the feedback. Same goes with you, and hope to run into you sometime, if your ever in Santa Cruz drop by and say hi.
And yes those Regals are some of the most musical and provoking pickups ive played, next to his blade style Jazzmasters. Killer!

Beautiful work as usual Scott. I recently saw Bill Krinard's Phoenix with the new neck that you did. Can't wait to try it out. We met at Bill's last year...you were trying out an amp with your pedal steel and I came by to drop of an amp to be modified. Glad to see you posting pics of your creations here.

    Thanks Oz.
Cool sfarnell, I remember that. Thanks for the feedback. Bills Phoenix turned out great, the Rosewood neck is the bomb. I am seriously contemplating going to all oiled rosewood necks on my guitars. The 10 or so ones if done so far have turned out spectacular, tonally and feel. There is more work that goes into them but its worth it.

Brilliant! All the details just make me smile.

Since we're recounting meetings, we've met at NAMM a couple times (I'm the Ph.D. guy working on guitar culture). Always a pleasure meeting, hope your doing great!
