Thoughts on these two Vox style overdrives? Thinking about getting one, but they both sound great and I'm not sure which one to go with based on YouTube demos.

I haven't tried both, but have the EGDM. Here are my thoughts on it.

    1. It does have a Vox vibe to it, heavier, more concentrated in the midrange.
    2. Less a compressed overdrive sound, but it does have a lot of gain on tap
    3. More of an distortion, than overdrive. But it does a nice lowerish overdrive as well.
    4. Tons of volume on tap. For me, it's above unity even below 9 o'clock.
    5. The nature and treble control help fine tune things, and won't give you a ton of tonal variety, but enough sculpting power to make a difference.
    6. Surprisingly, my HBOD before it does not work well, I found it got very muddy quickly. BUT, it drives my Marvel Drive very well, so it tends to do better being an earlier pedal, and driving other pedals. Drives my CAF nicely too.

Overall a pretty cool pedal. Would love to hear the EGOD to see how it compares, gain wise.
