Just got one yesterday. It's definitely got a thang going, or two. The clips on his site show it off really well. I'll be keeping my Zen and Barber Burn Unit, and working this one into the rotation.

Does it sound anything like the Bogner XTC blue channel?

Sorry to leave you all hanging. No personal experience with the Bogner. This pedal has gain in "ecstacy" mode, enough to make single coils sing. Good touch response, gtr volume knob useful. "Dxxble" mode is trickier to get under control, but good. Has that D mid thing, with useful tone control for amount of highs. The low knob affects pre-gain lows, so you can make it squishy, or go all the way to too flabby. Really the clips on Brian's site are an honest starting point. It hasn't been too hard to tweak good stuff out of it.

Didn’t dislike it AT ALL.. I just found that it was pretty similar to my Xotic BB…. Problem is, I cant sell my Xotic because my wife bought it for me.

I just figured I would sell it & let something fill the spot on my board that was totally different than anything I had.

It sounds wonderful & very quiet. I will say its more versatile than the Xotic since it has the 3-way toggle to change the voicing…

If you have never had a Wampler pedal, you should try some of them out, they are really nice

The Xotic was a gift for our 1 year wedding anniversary..so I really dont think it would be a smart move to sell it since that was only a couple months ago.

The ecstacy is real similar & I just figured I could better use that board space for a chorus or reverb pedal.

OK OK I admit!.. she tainted the BB with a sweet message on the inside of the case with a sharpie marker... So I'm attached to it... ha ha!

Maybe you should move this thread to the emporium.

I'm reviving an old thread. So, what's the update on the Wampler Ecstasy now that you've lived with it for a while. Do you still have it? And most importantly (to me anyway), how does it stack (with say a Blues Driver or TS9)? I want to hear some opinions.
    I'm running a clean 100watt plexi.
