Wampler Pinnacle output question

I just a picked up a Wampler Pinnacle, the 5 knob version with bass, mods, treble, gain, volume. It sounds really good but I find that I have to have the volume on the Pinnacle just about cranked to come close to matching the volume of my amp when the pedal is not engaged. Makes me wonder if something's wrong with the pedal. I was using it with a 9v power supply if that makes any difference. Any suggestions?

Same problem here, I had the four knob deluxe pinnacle and it had tons of volume & so does my triple recstortion. Anyone ever figure anything out about this? Any of the Wampler guys on the forum know what's up?

Hmm... didn't notice any problem on mine.

But what do I know?... I've recently found that 5 knobs AND a switch is too many things me to tweak live.

I think that is a common issue with that run of the Pinnacle. I remember reading something about that while researching some of the Wampler stuff. Seems to be corrected on the newer models. I run my four knob around 11-12.
