    The 72th one made.

Great deep finish over a sweet top. Beautiul fingerboard with figured inlays.

Is that Blockhead like an original JTM45 Bluesbreaker? Or more plexi?

The neck on this one is wide/flat.

Man, that thing is a treasure. I won't diss Hamer as their guitars have always been of amazing high quality and remain one of the best values to be had, but these early ones are a thing unto themselves, unique and matching the quality of the great guitars from the 50's, IMO. And that one is just so clean! Good on you, that is a beauty, thanks for sharing it!

....I love old Hamer guitars! I owned an early special & still have the 1978 Catalog that they sent me after I saw thier add in a Cream magazine.

Un-friggin'-believable. Great score. The only Sunburst I lusted for more was 7 0016, and that was solely b/c of the serial number.

Wow!!! What a great looking Sunburst....I had one with the dot inlays...it was serial number 7 0006, I got it a Dirty Don's Music in Atlanta...unfortunately several years later it was stolen out of a club we were playing. I found another used Sunburst shortly afterwards...it had the trap inlays and had a cherry red flamed top...not a sunburst...I've never seen another one like it.
