I assume english is not your first language? Your diction and annunciation are spot on here, you sound very much like Jon himself. You should cover some Christopher Cross stuff, sounds like your voice and his would match up nicely. And you nailed the music as well. Solid production too.

on those Christopher Cross hits - that's Eric Johnson playing guitar. And Cross traded in the Strat that would become SRV's #1. So even though his voice is a bit thin, Cross is a good guitarist and another Austin icon.

WOW! Absolutely Superb! Even made me sing along. This tune seems straightforward on the surface, but I've always felt like this is one of the most well done classic rock hits ever made. It's like a favorite food, only a few ingredients but they got it just right! Excellent work on this.

You have any references for that? I can find citations where Cross appears on Johnson recordings, but nothing the other way. I believe Cross played his own solo on Ride Like The Wind, and I can't find any Johnson credits listed for any Cross records, but my search was not exhaustive.

at the time, EJ was under contract to Bill Ham - who, as ZZ Top's manager, had signed up any talent in Texas he thought might be competition or steal some thunder from ZZ... he kept EJ and Van Wilks tied up so they couldn't record or do anything in the late 70s-early 80s. (there were others, but those 2 come to mind) So EJ played on Cross's album (not all of it of course) and purposely was not listed on the credits. When EJ became the buzz in the late 80s, the story came out of Ham's scam. He also tried to sign SRV and JLV, but they told him where to stick it. EJ and Cross have been friends since high school or before.

Just a bloody top notch performance from such a young guy -- you've got a relaxed cool going on that is extremely captivating and alluring... I'm serious to say that you've got something there that could have mass appeal - particularly for young people. You've also got an appeals to both sexes thing too that makes you great territory for many different musical directions. The next question is -- what about your music? What kind of stuff are you writing and recording? I've checked out some of your covers -- you need to be writing your own stuff and working with someone in (Sweden/Finland) because the time is now. Keep going guy! You got this.

Wow, I'm flattered, thank you so much! I do write my own stuff as well, but I'm such e perfectionist when it comes to my own material that only a few songs will ever see the light of day, it's a blessing and a curse. However I do play in three bands, for which I'm writing some stuff as well. Anyway, thanks again! :)

Woah, was expecting the guitar part and then you started singing it also. Brilliant, well done, I really enjoyed it.
