I currently am running and AC30cc with one red fang and one warfy, swapped out all the tubes with GT's which nobody seems to like around here, but I get unreal compliments about my tone none stop. I am just sick of lugging the AC30 around everywhere and am looking for something smaller. I thought about the ac15cc and the handwired version. Is the 15cc going to sound like my 30cc I am also checking out the bad cat cub II and Matchless lightning as possibilities. I like having the reverb and trem as well. I always leave the trem on but just turned way down, I find it warms up my tone quite a bit.

Any other amps and advice would be great.

They made a 1x12 version of the ac30cc. You might be able to find one of those around somewhere.

if you want a killer amp with reverb and trem that is smaller. look into the goodsell super 17. its not really a vox flavor but the amp is amazing.

I'd definitely say try the AC15CC with the Celestion Blue option.

++on the Goodsell 17, and I think it is very "voxy", and "fendery" too.

if you can find a star nova - grab it - has plenty of tones from a single channel - my description is a sterile vox - which isnt a bad thing if you want to dirty it up with your preference of pickups and stompboxes - just my .02 but i currently own one and it is quite a chore to buy another amp right now - im doing my best - currently in negotiations for a fuchs blackjack 21 - good luck

+1 on the goodsell. I'd say check out the super 17 mark III. it has reverb and trem, is a 1x12, weighs 28 lbs and is dropable to 5 watts.... just my 2 cents... oh yea and it sounds unreal

IMO opinion I would go with the AC15 or perhaps my new favorite a Carr Mercury. Don't let the 8 watts fool you this amp has volume!

I hear so many different things about the superseventeen. People say its fender flavoured but I have heard others say it sounds like an AC30 on crack I dont know what to think.

From my own experience the AC15CC sounds nothing like its bigger brother, not very loud either.

Get a Lightning. Small, easy to carry and has plenty of power! It can be clean or do that Vox crunch. Really likes treble boost pedals.
