Had an Aqua Puss, never tried the MP, but I have to say the Analogman Delay is the closest sounding to the Aqua Puss IMO

    and consume

By the way, i use a DBD and it is a nice pedal.
I don't think i would pay 300+ for it again, but it is a nice delay.

I would get one of the Carbon copy delay, since i don't think bthere is a 200 dollars difference in sound.
If i was to shell out that kind of money, i would buy the Moog delay.

I love it and im keeping it this time. ( I had sold it and had to re-buy it ) It's a polite pedal with a great vintage vibe.

What delay are you using... the dbd?

never had a AP but have a AM(xl) and DBD together on board for a while.
To me the AM is warmer dirtier than the MP which seems cleaner and clearer.
Maybe the AP is even cleaner/clearer than the MP as LV stated, Im not sure never having all 3 together.
MP being digi and voiced like tape delay, and AM being straight up analog like the AP.
and yeah having both is a great combo!

+1 ..and I'll ad that I find the AP is a bit "fatter when side by side with other delays. Short delay but truly one of the few peals I own (and I own alot of pedals) that completely live up to the hype. I pray they will release a new version with a long delay since George is back in the game.

The MP has this unique thing in that the delays sort of blend together creating a kind of reverb/delay effect. It's a very warm delay pedal, really nice but try to find the 600 ms version.

A few of my videos have the AP in the mix. The address to my youtube page is at the end of my signature.
